Indivisible Easthampton is proud to have endorsed the override, and that our members lent a strong hand to the Yes for Easthampton campaign and spread the word.

The need for the override and the concerns about its impact on our vulnerable neighbors is far larger than a local issue. We are in this vise because of the choices of our elected officials at the state and federal levels. Our taxes are the tip of the iceberg of a system that priorities wealth and war over human lives – healthcare, hunger, education, a living wage, a social safety net, environment, seniors, veterans, and immigration.

We invite our local elected officials and community residents to join us to defeat the GOP agenda, build community, and remake our democracy based on progressive values.
