Join Bearing Witness New England to Make a Difference!

Join Bearing Witness outside the ICE office in Burlington
1000 District Avenue, Burlington, MA
Wednesdays: 11 am – 1 pm

Stand in solidarity to show our love & support, express our shame at ICE, and bear witness to the cruel and unconstitutional actions of our government.

Regardless of your views on any other political issues, if you support immigrants and their constitutional rights and are committed to nonviolence, join us.

Western MA activists have been joining these weekly rallies once a month, led by Jewish Activists for Immigrant Justice (JAIJ). Since December, and through very bad weather, 50-75 people from this area have joined this weekly protest, which has been held for more than a year!!

Please arrange carpools with friends, family, coworkers, members of your congregations or organizations, or neighbors. Help to engage more people in learning about what is happening to immigrants within our own state, and protesting the hateful work that is being done by ICE.

We need to know how many people are going, to make sure everyone has arranged a ride, and to pass on information about our numbers to those arranging parking and shuttles to the rally site in Burlington.

To to get there in time to park and get a shuttle to the rally site, most carpools leave our area by about 8:30 am.

The next Western MA delegation to Burlington is on Wednesday, September 23.

This month (and several other times throughout the year) the delegation will be coordinated by FCCPR (Franklin County Continuing the Political Revolution). When FCCPR coordinates, they rent a bus that leaves from Sunderland, so for September you can choose to buy a ticket for the bus (and leave your car in Sunderland), set up your own carpools with friends or other activists, or (if needed) sign up to join a carpool.

Once you have registered, you can decide how you wish to travel. If you need to find a carpool, please use the following link: https://groupcarpool.com/t/27ywx6

If you wish to take the bus, you can purchase a ticket using the following link: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/sept-23-2026-bus-to-burlington
